To mark its 30th anniversary, Tanzhaus Zürich is hosting the MovingTowardsZero festival (June 26–28, 2026): a utopian space where art, activism and community come together. Sensing Bodies Writing is part of MovingTowardsZero.

Coming back to the body is often tumultuous. Joy and pleasure, shame, pain, and liberation all show up. This special combined edition of DEARS READS & DEARS, WRITE invites you to dive back into your body through a shared practice of reading and writing.

We begin with a selection of texts from DEARS issue no. 6 – SENSING BODIES, read by their authors. Participants are then invited to tune into writing in resonance with the voices heard and the bodies present in the space. The sequence concludes with a spontaneous voicing of the texts written – for those who wish to share.
